Double glazed windows don’t have many issues attached to them. CONDENSATION:

Often referred to as the devil of windows, this natural phenomenon causes a lot of unforeseen issues. Problems in reference to condensation may be plenty such as condensation in the cavity between the two panes or condensation on the inside pane etc. The prior problem can be dealt with by checking if the seal of the window is breached or not. If the seal of the unit is tampered with, the silica inside might react in some way, resulting in condensation. This can be dealt with by replacement of the glass units. For the latter problem that has been highlighted, namely, condensation on the inside pane- this is a problem that occurs due to lack of proper ventilation or when the temperature of the glass is too low. Both these problems can be easily deallt with by merely making sure that your house is properly ventilated.

One of the main reasons why double glazed windows are bought is to ensure that the draughts don’t get into the house. Now, if despite your glazed windows, they do get it in, this might be due to problems in the hinge or lock. The window frames are quite sturdy and durable hence the solution to this issue is by merely replacing the hinges which you can get by contacting any double glazing leads.

OTHER BROKEN PARTS:

Other parts of the window such as the lock or the handle might be subject to wear and tear over the span of time which is a problem that can be dealt with by mere replacement- something that is yet again possible by contacting any viable double glazing leads.
