Disadvantages of UPVC windows:

  • The light structure of the windows may sometimes tend to sag. They sometimes fail to provide the sturdiness like metal windows. They may not be strong.

  • Lack of customization options. They are available in wide range of colours and designs, but the owners can customize wooden windows and metal windows. But in the case of UPVC windows, they have to be chosen from the available stocks.

  • Wooden windows provide an elegant look while UPVC windows are undoubtedly long lasting but fail to maintain the royal look for long.

  • Incompatible with elegant choices and furnishing.

Despite these cons, UPVC windows are widely used, and even they are replacing wooden or aluminium doors.
